Learn and Master Ballroom Dance

You have probably come to this page because you are wondering if Learn and Master Ballroom Dance actually delivers what it promises. Stay with me now for just a couple minutes as I go over what the program entails, and why you would or would not want to buy it. I will start with the bad news first. If you are an experienced ballroom dancer, than this course is not for you. If you are new, somewhat new, or an intermediate dancer, than this course is a must have.

Benefits of Learn and Master Ballroom Dance

I personally find the teaching method of this course to be rather unique. The clarity of the lessons are crystal clear and the instruction is next to perfect. As a couple (or even by yourself) you will enjoy the benefits of learning via DVD. What better place to practice than in a semi-large room in your house? This certainly beats going to a dance studio where you have to pay enormous fees and end up dancing with other couples you can't stand being around.

Regarding the course itself - it contains 13 lesson packed dvds, a 75 page instruction "manual" as I like to call it, 6 music cds, and 24 hour support. Isn't that exciting? It sure beats the boring local instructor. A course like this must cost a fortune you are thinking... (well think again).... but I'll touch more on price later.

What exactly is in the lessons? Well when you get your course in the mail, you will open up the box it comes in (which is high quality material by the way) and there you will find all of the dvds, cds, and the manual.

Before you get too excited and don't know where to start, I suggest that you take some time and skim through the instruction booklet to give yourself a sense of what is going to come. Then once that is finished, begin with the video lessons. Your dance partner is going to have a ton of fun practicing with you at home - instead of the studio.
I thought that there might be a disadvantage in learning from home due to the fact that a teacher is not there to point out mistakes. Well, gladly I was wrong. You see, not only do you learn the specific dance styles, but you also learn the correct posture and movements as well. In my opinion, this alone is worth its weight in gold. You WILL be the star couple of any dance you take part in.
Considering the fact that one single private dance lesson costs a minimum of $50 dollars - this program is a steal in my mind. With the economy suffering, the last thing I want to do is spend $1,200 a year on dance lessons (considering you take one every couple of weeks).
A side bonus I want to mention is the fact that a lot of people (myself included) feel self concious of the way we dance. We may seem timid, shy, or just flat out embarrassed.
Motivation is a critical component of learning to dance well and also wanting to dance more. I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, but you may find yourself wanting to dance more and more with each lesson you take. The reason I think, is that the lessons are done REALLY well and they also make you excited. This is what all of us need when learning something new. Without the motivation, we won't do well.

Is Learn & Master Ballroom Dance Well Rounded?

LIke I mentioned earlier in my review, the course is not designed for a dance instructor (although it couldn't hurt I guess). The course is also not for experienced dancers. The course is well rounded though for beginners and intermediate dancers. There is a wide range of lessons and they cover all of the popular American style ballroom dancing. Learn and Master Ballroom Dance Essentials

If nothing else, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of Learn and Master Ballroom Dance just because of the cost savings. Personal tutors and dance instructors cost a minimum of $50 dollars (for a half decent one I might add) and that price is per lesson. I find it hard to believe that anyone will be dissappointed with this course.

I also enjoy the fact that you can talk to the instructors themselves! They are world famous and if you are truly into ballroom dancing, you will have heard of them. They have won contest after contest and are the true dancing stars. I might not be a dancing star - but I try :0)
